| For two decades FlexLink has been developing and supplying production process automation conveyors to a broad spectrum of industries. It began in 1978 as a project within SKF. The aim was to develop new conveyors for the group's new automated ball and roller manufacturing lines. The conveyors had to be able to transport products horizontally and vertically and thereby free up floor space and optimise the manufacturing line layout. The solution was multiflex chain conveyors, FlexLink conveyors. From this basis complete conveyor systems were developed. Today combined also with drive units, enclosure systems and integrated production lines. One overriding principle was that the system should be flexible - it should be possible to install, modify and change the system on site using standard hand tools.
